Anterior urinary system with prostate
This view shows the male urinary system with the prostate gland. Locate the prostate. Although the prostate is primarily a part of the male reproductive system the urethra moves through it.
Males sometimes suffer from a condition of the prostate called benign prostatic hyperplasia or BPH. In BPH the prostate gland enlarges and sometimes blocks the urethra resulting in difficulty urinating.
Use your text to locate the other urinary structures on your list.
This concludes the lab.
